Bio

Berk Duygun (BäRK) is a DJ and electronic music artist based in The Hague (Den Haag), Netherlands. Working at the intersection of underground club culture and contemporary art, his practice blends dark, groovy electro rooted in 80s/90s acidic synth textures with narrative-driven spatial formats.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Arts The Hague, Duygun also works as a contemporary artist and curator, developing projects that move between DJ performance, curated exhibitions, broadcast platforms and immersive nightlife environments. His work blurs the boundary between club night, installation and constructed fiction, while remaining grounded in the Dutch electro-oriented underground circuit.

He has performed across The Hague, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Brussels and Istanbul, appearing at Club Laak where he closed the Dekmantel Club Tour in The Hague, as well as PIP Den Haag, Weelde Rotterdam, Grey Space in the Middle, Operator Radio and Future Intel.

BäRK has appeared and keeps appearing throught 2026 on independent radio platforms including Kiosk Radio (Brussels), Noh Radio (Istanbul) and Echobox Radio (Amsterdam), alongside performances at the Istanbul’s main underground venue Banger.

As the founder and running manager of Royal Surfclub (est. 2019), Duygun leads an independent nightlife and cultural platform operating across The Hague and Rotterdam, developing hybrid club events, exhibitions and cross-disciplinary formats that merge electronic music with contemporary art and have become a recurring presence within the city’s underground calendar.

As a curator, he has developed multidisciplinary exhibitions featuring emerging artists across auditory, visual, and hybrid practices. His curatorial work includes initiatives for Art SafariPark Sessies Haarlem, The Night Watch, Ghent, This Art Fair, Amsterdam, and Museum Night The Hague.

In 2025, Duygun is recently working on a music project he personally coded as a fully playable Game Boy game, translating The Hague’s underground nightlife into an interactive electronic music release featuring real venues, DJs and radio platforms from the city’s independent circuit which was featured by local and international media outlets such as  3voor12 and Midnight Rebels.
